Fluorescent Inks and Fine-line Foil
Project: After decades in our old, crowded building, DataGraphic recently moved into a modern, spacious facility. The larger space allowed us to increase our production capacity and expand our finishing offerings. Being printers, we decided to mail out a printed announcement to let folks know about our new location and services. We created an “illustrative timeline” of our 80+ year history in the form of a die cut, gate-folded, double-accordion fold. Naturally it needed to be day-glow.
Paper Stock: Neenah Classic Crest 165# DTC Avalanche White Stipple Finish
Print – Outside Spread: Conventional Lithography double-hit of custom day-glow blue, day-glow orange, overall protective aqueous coating
Print – Inside Spread: Conventional Lithography day-glow blue, day-glow orange, day-glow fuchsia, day-glow sherbet, overall protective aqueous coating. Hot foil stamped in exacting register to the lithography using Kurz Metallic Blue Foil, 1⁄4″ brass stamping plates were used
Finishing: Die-scored using 3pt rounded rules and die-cut using center beveled knives.
