Letterpress holiday cards that share it forward.
These sophisticated letterpress holiday cards, designed by Kuhlman Levitt for legendary architectural firm, HOK, actively encourage sharing — right at the moment such sentiments are activated — via an equally sophisticated detachable postcard. While giving and sharing is still fresh on the mind, the mechanism for spreading the joy is merely a fold, snap and postage stamp away. “Snap?” you say? Yes. Instead of just using a single cover stock printed front and back, the 120# Mohawk cover stock was “duplexed,” which is to say that two sheets were printed and then glued together to create a 240# thickness. Throw in a pin perforation for the final touch of class. The stiffness and the heft of this piece is a large part of its appeal. Just another trick up our ink-stained sleeves.
