Turned edge (also known as case-made) packaging is the gold standard for high-end brands. Unlike a standard collapsible folding carton, a turned edge box is constructed by taking a thick, sturdy structural board and wrapping it with a premium printed liner. The edges of the liner are “turned” over the lip of the board and glued to the inside, creating a seamless, furniture-quality finish with sharp, clean corners.
For Pressed Roots, we produced both large and small versions of these boxes, ensuring that whether a client is receiving a full hair care kit or a single specialized product, the unboxing experience remains consistent and substantial.
