This is not your parents’ black and white invitation suite.
The invitation suite for Vilcek’s Tenth Annual Awards Dinner required a delicate balance between massive foil stamping and super fine detail. This project challenged our production team in many ways as the front cover art called for special treatment. We eventually settled on a white pigment foil and the added relief of embossing. The designers wanted the stock to feel extra thick and sturdy, so we pasted together two ply’s of the cover stock. The duplexing sequence occurred after decoration in order to hide the bruise and not interfere with the artwork on the inside front cover.
Through collaboration with Ahoy Studios we executed the art director’s instructions and delivered crisp stamping and perfect registration. The extra thick tri-fold invitation contained 6 panels, expertly scored and folded, along with accompanying RSVP and envelopes.
