‘Why embed an invitation with an RFID tag,’ you ask?
Bleeding edge tech meets hand-crafted, luxury printing.
Made of 4 layers of synthetic materials all seamlessly unified with crystal clear optics, this acrylic invitation, produced for the exclusive NFL Commissioner’s Party, was embedded with a Smartrac CIRCUS™ RFID tag in order to provide the lucky guests with personalized service as they arrived. The top layer consists of a .1875” clear acrylic panel with polished edges that was screen printed in PMS 10118 Gold ink. The second, visible layer showing the lush palm fronds was digitally printed 4/0 on Epson Gloss Cover, which creates some spectacular drama as the gold design casts its shadow across the tropical scene.
In all, there were five layers of substrate mounted and finished, including a die cut well sandwiched in the middle to conceal the RFID tag. Oh, did we mention the party was held in Miami? Another mojito, please!
