A Direct Mail Campaign that ‘Stands Up’ to Multiple Processes
Playing on harsh winter weather and optimistically anticipating a gentle spring, we decided to show off our multi-process artistry with a playful, free-standing direct mail campaign. The piece, which blew across our presses like a nor’easter, combines five different processes and, with the tuck of a few tabs, creates a unique, three dimensional decoration for any work-space. A vellum insert contained ‘instructions’ on how to assemble the pre-folded piece as well as production notes.
We’ve included closeup shots of the engraving process, which typically goes unseen by most people. The high level of skills that our artisan engravers possess is a joy to watch. Since we really wanted to wow folks with this direct mail campaign, we didn’t hold back on anything. Seen closeup here is one of our engravers adding the fine lines to the plate in our lion’s mane.
