Raising the roof with impossibly fine foil on this invitation poster

Printing: Foil stamping for all type and stripes. Metallic (silver and gold) offset lithography in perfect registration to ‘BEAT THE HEAT’ creates a shimmering haze around the letters. The radiating heat effect the client wanted wouldn’t have been achievable with foil alone. Poster (17 x 22.5 in.) was scored and folded into quarters, inserted into a custom jumbo mailer.
Stock: Plike, made in Italy by Gruppo Cordenons. The stock is matte deep black. It feels velvety and soft, like midnight on a rooftop.
