An intriguing title for an art book, to say the least.
Printed to accompany a series of paintings by legendary New York artist, Jan Frank, this simple, saddle sewn art book takes on more gravity due to its striking cover. Just beyond the brown kraft stock lie 4-color lithography renditions of the “Suicide Paintings” named after Brice Marden’s series of drawings made in 1973. An aqueous coating on the inner pages provides a nice tactile contrast to the rough exterior.
